Omelettes

I recently bought an omelette maker after thinking they were an unnecessary gadget. So quick, and easy. So tonight instead of having endless out of date stuff, will be using up bits and pieces from the fridge, ham, parmesan, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs etc.
Never thought I'd get excited about egg recipes, but would thoroughly recommend getting one.

Re: Omelettes

I can't eat them, but I make a "scromlette" for Mr P. Its a cross between scrambled eggs and omelette. Because I can't make an omelette to save my life and just end up bunging everything in the cooking eggs and mixing it up. Still tastes good though.

Yes, I thought unnecessary before. They make the fluffiest omelettes though, and at least I'm making them more 😊

Me neither Pixie. It starts off looking good but turns into a shredded mess by the time it reaches the plate. It usually tastes okay though as you say.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one then. I thought I was bringing shame upon the cooking community!
