I wasn't into Elvis at all - probably missed it all by a few years to get really hooked on him.

He does seem quite a phenomenon and one that shows little sign of going so he must have had something that they youth of his day really clicked with.

I think you would call it having a voice ... and he used it well.
Couldn't bear to watch him though, but I have a lot of his records.

I love 'The wonder of you' - Crying In the Chapel - Dont Be Cruel - in fact 90 per cent of his music ....

A school friend of mine used to always play Mama Liked The Roses, she really loved that song.

Songs take you instantly back to a memory, that otherwise may not have come .... magical - aint it ....

It absolutely is Patsy. Certain songs will play (or even hearing someone singing or humming them) and I can be transported back in time and recall people I'd forgotten about. Very powerful stuff this music!

I am a huge Elvis fan. He had the voice, the looks and had he been given a chance, I reckon he could have been a really good actor, unfortunately Colonel Tom Parker had other ideas and was only interested in the mega bucks and not the man!
