Eating Out

Had a lovely meal, yesterday evening, at a "High Class" Indian Restaurant, I was a bit perturbed when the waiting staff began conversating in their native tongue, they could have been taking the piss for all I know, and at a premium rate, there is something being lost in translation, isn't there?.

Re: Eating Out

Probably not, I made a joke about a Punkawalla, back in the 70's in the Curry Garden, such stuff has a habit of coming back to haunt you, Karma and all that, I will never order a Chicken Karma again.

I may be tempted Alan, but the Scampi and Crackerjack King Prawn Combo has caught my eye.

Re: Eating Out

Spit I just wondered why you were calling waiters in a restaurant
a Punkawallah.
Meaning of Punakawalla is fan guy or the man with the fans
