If help is needed..

A friend of mine had a flat tyre the other week and attempted to change the wheel herself ... she's very capable (not like me) and could probably have done it ... but a knight in shining armour stopped and did it for her which was very nice of him.

Men if you saw a woman trying to change a wheel would you offer your help?
Ladies would you attempt to do it yourself?

If I got a flat I would call my breakdown service out... I'd rather they do it safely, that me do it wrong.
Tony did show me how to do it years ago but I've forgot.

I'm with you Carol. Not sure if I would be able to do it these days anyway, so if no one stopped to help I would be on the phone to breakdown service.

I could never change a bicycle tyre Carol, let alone a car tyre!

I'd give the car a thorough trouncing! Then leave it there & get a taxi!

I have never had a flat and don't have a clue how to change one. I'd call AAA to come and change it.

I've twice changed a wheel for a distressed lady.

That's ridiculous. Being able to change a wheel and perform basic maintenance (top up washers, check oil etc) should be part of the driving test. I might show someone how to change a wheel (not a tyre) but I wouldn't do it for them.

I really hate this trend of not providing a spare wheel - just a repair kit.
Nothing more than a money saving exercise.

I could make them a cup of tea but know nothing about cars.
I have many talents but changing tyres aint one of them
Takes me all of my time to open a jar nowadays

I know how to change a wheel but couldn't manage it these days - too heavy for me to lift!
