What's in a name?

What name does your Grandchildren call you?

For those of you without Grandchildren, what names did you call your own grandparents?

Hi Mags, I only ever knew one grandparent she wasn't a very nice grandmother to us so I never called her anything!

No grandkids!
Only one Gran that I can remember. I don`t think people lived as long back then.

Both of my grandmothers had passed away before I was born but my grandfather lived with us until his death, he was granddad.

I don't have grandchildren but my daughter called my mother nanny.

I'm Nanny or Nan to my grandchildren

I only knew one grandmother and she was Grandma ..... didn't know either of my grandfathers though.

My maternal grandparents were Nanny and Grandad.
My Paternal grandparents were Nan and Popsy.

My Children call my mother Bamber.

Vaguely remember my Dad's parents, didn't see them very often-learnt later on in life that when we did go to visit we were never allowed to speak-a case of 'a child should be seen and never heard'!

Remember my mum's parents well and they were Grandma and Grandad....

Only knew my maternal Grandma and Grandpa, paternal Grandfather had passed before I was born, and I never visited my paternal Grandma till I was in my teens. Mom didn't get along with that side of the family.

Never knew my Dad's mother, can't remember what I called his Dad think I only me him a couple of times, can't remember what I called my Mum's parents either as I never saw much of them!!

I never knew my Grand parents as they had died before I was born.
Our grand daughter calls us Grandma and granddad when she is not in her 'Teenage' mood, I dont know what she calls us then.
