Oh joy!!! This poor donkey has now been rescued by the Sun newspaper and will be offered sanctuary for life at a Donkey Sanctuary in Romania.

I hope the donkey's owner and those responsible for causing so much distress to this poor animal will get what they deserve.

I have never been a Sun reader but I salute them for stepping in like this!

A very un-funny thing to do to a Donkey ..or any other animal. I'm glad of a happy outcome for it. The Sun has turned out to be a knight in shining armour. Donkey OT maybe?
