On the fifth week of lockdown my Cousin gave to me, FIVE GOLDEN BEERS!

On the sixth week of lockdown my Cousin gave to me, six bills for paying

On the seventh week of lockdown my Cousin gave to me, seven bags for binning

On the eighth week of lockdown my Cousin said to me, the chickens need a milking

On the ninth week of lockdown my Cousin said to me, fancy romancing?

On the tenth week of lockdown my Cousin said to me, the smoke alarm is beeping

On the eleventh week of lockdown my Cousin said to me, go and fix the piping

Re: The twelve weeks of Lockdown.

There is an area of Brum called Erdington where I had to make a delivery yesterday. At its centre, there is a traffic island known locally as Six Ways, driving through there you would be unaware there is a lockdown on, large groups of geezers congregating, folks sitting shoulder to shoulder on a bench, and loads of folks milling about on the High Street.

We had a street party in the cul-de-sac to celebrate VE day yesterday, the wine and beer was flowing freely, so I hope I haven't woke up this morning with more than just a hangover....
Even Tesco seemed to have relaxed their rules a little bit this morning...

Re: The twelve weeks of Lockdown.

I just had a message from the Devil, himself!

He said I should act as "Devil's Advocate" (whatever that means) and pass his message on to all members of OFF (apparently he already has a couple of supporters).

The message is that he is very annoyed with all of us in the UK.

He says he has spent a fortune ,in sending complicated mishaps to the UK, like the EU, Flooding, Coronavirus, weird politicians, and general elections.

He says he's been doing all of that hard Devil work and Nobody gives a damn!

What happens?

Well, he says we seem to enjoy being off work, enjoy not having to commute every day, kids not in school, etc.

He thinks we thrive on it. We love it!

Even the birds and wild animals are letting him down by loving the changes.

Anyway, he says, if we don't start throwing wobblies, fighting each other, cursing & swearing, immediately, he'll punish us all, he promises.

His thinking is that he could bring back some recent PM candidates, transfer his pal Barndoor over from the EU, and lots of other nasty tricks.

We have been warned!
