Hi

Good Morning ST and all who follow.

Much cooler here today with a frost for tonight.

A quiet day for me today, I am shattered.

Have a good day all.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

Overcast this morning. Cooler than of late with rain arriving into a rather cloudy, damp afternoon is the forecast. Maximum temperature 17ºC.

Not too sure about continuing to receive my quota of Vitamin D today? However, there is always something needing attention elsewhere.

Enjoy your day everybody, whatever you may be doing.

Re: Good Morning Sunday!

Good morning all, a cool damp start here and forecast to get cooler later, must try to protect the plants tonight...

Tabbles, 65 pages in a day eh, that's going to be some epic....

Back now from our dog walking duties and enjoying a coffee before starting on a tough day of jigsawing and film watching, in between making parsnip and carrot soup for lunch.

Have a good day everyone

Re: Good Morning Sunday!

Good morning everybody.

We've had rain in the night but still feels muggy. I've got a desktop fan blowing as I type this.

Today I had planned on cleaning all my garden ornaments & seed trays etc. Yesterday we cleaned the shed out & made a good job of it. There are piles of stuff I've hidden behind the greenhouse that needs to be taken to the tip (when it opens)

Hopefully we will be able to get as little walk in today too.

I'm off now for a workout in my home gym. It's become my new morning habit.

Have a good day.

Re: Good Morning Sunday!

Good morning all overcast now after a sunny start to the day. Rain forecast for later.

Hoping to get more plants in the garden today, I gave up after an hour yesterday as it was too hot and tiring.

Not much else planned for the day except to complete my Sainsburys online order.

Enjoy your day everyone and stay safe...

Re: Good Morning Sunday!

Good morning everyone dull and windy such a change..

Aggggg I have used used half of my remaining white bread flour to make a batch of pizza dough for the freezer also using the 'new' yeast which arrived yesterday . The dough turned into a kind of soup and had to be thrown away.

Luckily I still have some of my old yeast in the freezer (Hirondel sadly no longer made because of C19) and have been able to make a decent batch of dough.

After sitting waiting for ages at the computer yesterday I managed to get a delivery slot with a flour mill so have been able to order lots of flour not sure when it will arrive though.

So Pizza and various salads for lunch and blackcurrants from the freezer with baked egg custard .

Stay safe...

Re: Good Morning Sunday!

Cool day after the warmth of the previous week. It really bugs me when the sea (21°) is warmer than the land (19°).

Was lucky enough to get 2mm of rain yesterday arvo in a quick 15 minute downpour on an otherwise sunny day - spectacular rainbows.

However today was a cloudless and warm enough if you kept out of the breeze. Had a lovely long walk this morning.

It is supposed to get down to single figures tonight but will warm up again during the week.
