Who cares what the boring Beckhams do? Honestly - the world is going mad. As long the children are learning properly does it matter what they wear in their own home? If the Beckham brats are too thick to recognise the difference between a formal home lesson and playtime without the aid of a uniform - then there is no hope for them anyway!

I think it's a very good idea. It supports a mindset in the kid.

Art I see your point entirely and I agree with you. They are only at home through necessity. They need to keep the mores of their education stable. Viz the uniform. It's not a "day off" from school. If their school has a uniform they should wear it during school hours.

Different pros and cons. I understand about work days = work wear, and it's a valid point.

However, since most studies (hw, revision) take place in "civvies", it might be productive in terms of studying being a "normal" activity rather than a "special" situation one.

Not bothered either way. But civvies will save on ironing

No I dont think so . Daughter has a set time for schooling and the girls start at that time . They are being given a lot of work from the teachers , I'm quite surprised . J is studying for her exams and that's about 6 hours a day . R is 9 and doing a 6 hours a day . I was surprised how hard their homework is . They are much more intelligent and brighter than me .

Children are individuals, ultimately it's down to parents to decide what's best in this instance.
If people start getting hung up on advice from so called celebrity's then God help us!

In the real world , not necessary, not practical for most families. Keeping active and healthy, homeschooling should be left to parents following guidelines from their school.
