Re: What books are you reading now?

I read quite alot of 'learning' type stuff during the day, so at bedtime I like the opposite, usually anything light hearted and preferably "sloppy".

Just finishing The World according to Bertie and will be starting The Unbearable Lightness of Scones next. Both by Alexander McCall Smith.

I think I prefer the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency by him and other books about Precious.

On my Kobo Touch I am reading False Memory by Dean Koontz, paper book I am reading king and Maxwell by David Baldacci. I cannot read sloppy love novels. I am never ever without a book in any format.

Re: What books are you reading now?

I haven't read a Dean Koontz book for some years! Koontz and King were favourites of mine .. I'll have to look False Memory up, is it any good?

No, I don't like Mills and Boon type novels either.

Right here goes, have just finished JDRobb Concealed in Death, and Stephen Leathers' Nightfall, have the follow up, Midnight, in the wings, along with The Wolf Gift, by Anne Rice, The Chase by Janet Evanovitch, and Cell, by Robin Cook. While currently am reading Strangers by Koontz, and a 'fluffy' little number by Jojo Moyes One plus One.

Not read enough of it to pass an opinion yet, but I like Koontz and have never been disappointed.

Daisymay, glad to see you are reading S. Leather: he is one of my favourites.

Reading Kindle too. What a blessing my kindle has been while I was in hospital with its own light, I could read myself to sleep and the options for down loading books just goes on and on each day I get offers from Amazon.

Re: What books are you reading now?

On my Kobo I am reading Tug River Murder by James Knox, this is my bedtime reading, on my Kindle I am reading Fractured by Dani Atkins and on my book chair I am reading Wrongful Death by Lynda La Plante.
Got 2 more reserves come in to the Library for my collection tomorrow.
Just as well I am retired and can devote a lot of my spare time to reading!
In between I play on-line Scrabble.
