Fantastic Beasts and where to find them

Has anyone seen this one?

One of my friends is desperate for me to go to the cinema with her - her husband flatly refused - but I can't help thinking it is just milking the Harry Potter cash cow !

I never enjoyed the Harry Potter books or films, Nathan has promised to get it for Grace when it comes out on DVD. We aren't a family fond of spending a lot of money at the cinema. Costs a bomb these days.

I keep seeing the trailer on TV. Really not sure if I want to see it in the cinema. Perhaps, like Julie, I'll just wait for the DVD.

We only lasted ten or fifteen minutes with the first Harry Potter film and switched it off, the whole franchise is just for children surely....

Re: Fantastic Beasts and where to find them

It certainly got my boys reading which was great but they weren't for me which is funny as I reread old favourites from my childhood occasionally so I'm not against kids books at all.

Oh dear, please don't tell me that, I was more excited about going to see the first Harry Potter then the kids were

I loved the books which my daughter read after me and now my grandson is reading

He loves seeing the films over and over again and I secretly enjoy them as much if not more then he

Sorry but yes, same story as well with the Lord of the Rings, fantasy just isn't our thing I guess...

I loved Harry Potter & LOTR & The Hobbit. I do so like Fantasy/Sci-Fi though.

Now LOTR and The Hobbit I never took too.

Never got on with the books either , yet my sister adores them

Just been watching the trailer for Fantastic beasts and have booked to see it next week on half price night

Last time we went to the cinema was to see Spectre - a year ago
