I'm not keen on it tbh but I'm not going to worry about it. Having been to The Vatican several times, I know that it is virtually impossible to study anything at any great length because of horrendous crowds of tourists.
I love the Vatican, you could spends months there in the public areas and never get bored.
Rome is a marvellous place, full of wonders.
Oh so true Swimmy. Those are the only reasons apart from the work I was doing that kept us there for 14 years. Such a shame about the bureaucracy and the prevalence of petty crime and pickpockets.
