Ppi

while I'm here... quick question..how do I know whether I would be owed PPI? Is it only for people who've had credit cards or store cards that closed down?

Where's the best place to check for free?

Thanks

Re: Ppi

It's definitely worth checking. We had over £3000 reimbursed (after the PPI company's 20% was taken out).

Re: Ppi

I wasn't sure if it was just for people who had a mortgage or who'd had credit cards in the past and the company had closed or what?

Re: Ppi

Everyone focuses on the 20% for the PPI company, an individual has to pay their VAT,and, what about the 20% payable on the interest that would have been accrued over the years to the exchequer, there are quite a few fingers in the pie.

Yes that's very true. Often too they are more numerous, greedier and 'fatter' fingers than those of the eventual recipient!
