Terra Natura, Murcia

A few photos taken today at Terra Natura, Murcia. We had a lovely day but it was so hot, over 40C, it was like being in an oven. There is a water park attached to the zoo and it was much busier than the zoo.

The bears are really funny Mups, when they see anyone coming along the walkway they dash to the side and sit up begging, if just sitting up gets them nothing they wave their paws then clasp them together. Probably natural behaviour but it looks so funny. Visitors are allowed to feed them carrots, and boy are they expert at catching them ! It is so hot here right now that most animals were sleeping or wallowing in mud baths, we felt like joining them.

The animals often have more sense than we do, and take it easy when its hot. I don't think I'd do very well in that sort of heat Clumsy. Glad you had a nice time though.
