Some people complain about the amount of money it costs to keep the royal family, but it's a drop in the ocean to what the Lib Dems (and others) are promising to take off the taxpayers to reduce CO2....A naturally occurring component by the way.....(£30 billion over five years)....

It’s not a drop in the ocean at all.

It’s a huge amount of TAXPAYERS money .
£250k a year not counting travel and security for a useless waster like Andrew is quite frankly immoral.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with what political parties are proposing to do or not to do .

Totally illogical reasoning that smacks of desperation !

You can do better than this OGF

The cost of the royal family runs to at least two Billion pounds per year when all of the knock on costs are factored in and we get NOTHING in return. The tourism argument is pure BS.

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

Stop having a go at members of the Royal family because you are not happy with tax payers money being spent on them and just that as your justification for having a go at them because the fact is anyone who uses taxpayers money as an argument against the Royal family are so very wrong. Why? because it is FACT that the UK tax payer pays more to the UK's politicians and their personal expenses than they ever do to the Royal family. Also FACT, the Royal family brings in £ billions of revenue ever year from tourism, politicians do not.

So next time people complain about about how much money taxpayers money goes on the Royal family, do some fact checking first and just stop listening to biased newspapers and media sites.1
