Living with a Hobbit.

Hi

Guy is back, I had forgotten how much they eat at that age.

First breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, lunch etc.

He has a huge craving for dairy, something he has not had for nearly 3 years, not been back since January 2017.

He is devouring huge amounts of stuff he has not had for years

Chips, mash, baked beans, cheesecakes, milk, tiger bread, butter, cheeses.

Pies are unknown in Taiwan, ketchup, malt vinegar etc also.

Beef and lamb are very rare, he is eating vast amounts of both.

The nearest he has been to beef for nearly 3 years has been a McDonalds Burger.

Fish, chips and mushy peas are a firm favourite.

The annoying thing is that he has a 32inch waist and is not putting on any weight.

Being epileptic now, he does not drink and cannot drive, so walks everywhere.

My food bill has gone through the roof.

It is worth it though.

Sounds very Hobbit like, Swimmy, does he also have hairy soles to his feet?

Hi

Nope.

I got him slippers when he arrived, these are now in the bin as he tried to stamp out some of the flames, along with the oven gloves.

The Conservatory is now a high tech den, I can download just about everything and all the smart systems work.

He cannot grasp the concept of washing up, he is used to eating out.

He can however iron, which is great.

Swim, you say . . . " The annoying thing is that he has a 32inch waist and is not putting on any weight."

Give it time! He has only been home and eating that sort of food for a few days!

A few weeks/months on that diet, then measure and weigh again and see what it's done.
Don't forget we can't see what it's doing inside as well.
