EU "Stop BrExit" Next Phase

So now the country has once again firmly asserted its wishes to Leave the EU.

So EU goes to the next phase in its plan to keep us in

Brussels hatches plot to KEEP the UK under EU control past 2020 with Eurocrats claiming more time is needed to strike a new trade deal

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rade-deal.html

"Brussels is considering a plan to extend the Brexit transition period beyond the end of next year that would keep the UK tied to EU rules, it was reported tonight.

Boris Johnson ran his election campaign with a pledge to have a trade deal with Europe in place by December 2020 when the buffer period is due to cease.

He says he will refuse to extend it any further but EU politicians are considering asking for it to be pushed back themselves.

They believe that with Mr Johnson's Brexit Deal due to be ratified in January, 11 months is not long enough to do a deal, the Guardian reported.

Any extension period would see the UK continue to obey EU trade rules until they are over-written by a new deal, something likely to prove explosively unpopular to Brexiteers. "

This BS is never going to stop

We MUST just walk away and cut the ties once and for all and be done with these dictators. Will Boris do it?

I fear he won't.

I suspect he is just another cog in their machinery.

Depends on whether boris himself will intervene in the negotiations. Boris is easily played by seasoned negotiators like barnier.
If boris has any brains he will ask farage to perform the negotiations on britain's behalf. Nigel will be out of a job come 31 januari, so will have his hands free to serve his country.

Boris will deliver BRINO

May couldn't do it because there were so many Leaver MPs in parliament. Boris can now push the disastrous deal through where May couldn't.

When he does, the UK will erupt

He struck a deal with the EU. He promised that he could take it through HoC. If he reneges now, his credibility will be in the wind.

Hi

For all you haed cors No Deal Brexiteers.

Gove is touted to be put in charge of all New Trade Deals, not just that with the EU.

Gove's famous statement.

Nobody voted to leave without a deal.

Expect the Tories to look after their backers during any new trade deal.

The EU won't want to miss out on getting their trade deal first and losing out to the USA. This would be a catastrophe for the EU and they know it.

Quote of the day "now we will have a new competitor at our door in the form of Great Britain" - Angela Merkel.

Hi

The EU is by far our biggest Export Market, nearly 4 times as big as the USa,

It is in our interests to get the EU Deal done first.

Trump has a more protectionist trade policy than the EU.

He is America First.
