I just hate how it takes 2 hours once they've cross- matched the blood. I never get home during daylight. They're trying to empty the hospital as much as possible before Christmas.

I do want to go home though.

Just discovered I’m to get a 2 unit or 4 hour transfusion. So, once my blood is cross matched, transfused, etc. I'll be here for 6 hours. hours in here for what? Worthless transfusions. Junior doctors playing grown ups.

At least in hospital they are looking after you. Why all the blood? I hope you are able to go home soon. You must be so fed up.

I think all the blood is just time wasting on their part. I still have to get a taxi after all this is over.

I'm back home after a cold journey. I already can tell that I've got another fever so have taken some paracetamol. I'd always worse at night whereby mornings can be rotten too.

I've got a double appt. on the 27th with both my consultant and my GP. I'm preying that I can make it to then. Strange points pop up, did I get good blood etc..I really wanted to get back for Christmas day and boxing day so I'll have to go out at some stage as I don't have much food on.Today I was knackered on my feet. I always seem to get better in hospital for a few days, then when I get home,worse again. Part of this must be placebo.
