My book collection

I always and firmly stated that I would only read a hard copy of any book............until my son brought me a Kindle.

Now I have an Amazon Fire with in excess of 500 e pubs.

I have e pubs from 82 different authors totalling,as of 11 April 2017, 508 e pubs.

I mainly read fictional modern day military combat, including WW3,some World war 2 naval and Air force and some thrillers.

Re: My book collection

I haven't been swayed over to e books yet
I like the feel of a book in my hands

Bet it saves on shelf space though!

Re: My book collection

I was of the same opinion as you,but could never decide which books to take on holiday with me & 500 plus books would cost a fortune in excess baggage. Now with my Amazon Fire I can carry all 500 plus books and they only weigh a few ounces

Re: My book collection

I too have been swayed over to ebooks.
I do still buy books when I am out and about but for ease as you say Steve on holidays, on a train, bus etc it is easier to read my ebook.

Kindle's are brilliant. I always read a little by it's cover light when I go to bed. Doesn't take long before I'm ready to sleep.
