Do you agree?
It's a deep and often divisive topic. There are many who believe in a supernatural omnipotent omnibenovelent entity.
I don't. For sure there is no proof either way. For me, the evidence stacks against it.

God, if god existed, could use his infinite powers to prevent 20,000 a day dying of starvation as one example. There is a simple explanation.

Who created Satan if Satan exists?

God/Satan ... there an element of what sweetie suggests plus a generous helping of social engineering.

Who created creation?

We need Pugsy to answer that one, that is his area of expertise.
The current conception of the Big Bang model assumes the existence of energy, time, and space, and does not comment about their origin or the cause of the dense and high-temperature initial state of the universe. The Big Bang was "small": It is misleading to visualize the Big Bang by comparing its size to everyday objects. I cheated.

Do you think religion was created as a means of control?

Re: Random question thread

Yes. Until 'Christians',with their wonderful ethics of 'peace, goodwill, love for all',so forth, slaughtered just about every Pagan in existence, the PEACEFUL practice of offering thanks to the omnipotent power[s] that brought forth the sun,the moon, the seasons, the harvest, etc, was pretty-much universally 'in vogue'. But,as bloody usual when humans get involved in other people's business,it was decided by the invaders that this Paganism didn't put any money in the coffers-so it had to go-so,go it did.In extremely violent fashion. Don't ever be talked into thinking Christianity is a peaceful, loving religion which unites people across nations. It's the very reason Paganism and the worship of nature died out-literally. ...and if this God bloke is so bloody merciful and understanding-why do church spires need lightening conductors?

As for the Big Bang and the requisite physics behind that theory...I ain't going there, not on this forum. it's been a really shitty couple of days-I really don't need nay-sayers with a GCE in woodwork arguing physics with me. Sorry chaps/chappettes...I've had a REALLY horrible couple of days...LONG days [haven't slept since Tuesday],so,live long & prosper,y'all...

[will that do for an answer?]

It got colder.

Why did Fahrenheit decide that 32°F was the freezing point of water?

It's a long story and people though differently in the old day.

Zero was the coldest temp Dr F was aware of, the freezing point of salt; 96 is the number for healthy body temp, thought more convenient than 100 because it's more divisible; and normal freezing point lies in between at 32.

Back or streaky?

Either to be honest.

Why is milk white and not green?
