The hotels we have stayed have had great entertainment (included in the cost). Most of the time though we were out and about exploring the sights and culture of the country we were in.

And if you find the people in the next room are morons you can change hotel. The one thing that puts me off cruising is finding some people on one side (or both sides) unbearable.
