Re: Looney Labour in Disarray

Shouldn't the title of this thread be

Looney UK Government in Disarray?

Why pick on Labour? The government can't even pass their own bills.

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,--
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.

Unusual to compare a country to an ATM, I suppose that is what they mean by Little Britain.

You've certainly done Brexit in a very 'special' way.

659 days since triggering Article 50, 73 days to go and no one is any clearer about what is going to happen on 29th March 2019.

Certainly no one else could have achieved that. We watch with interest.

Indeed, we have. We decided to play a new combined game of ludo/cluedo and monopoly which involves hoping we throw a double six with no idea of who killed who, nor where, not what with, whilst simultaneously not knowing where to best build a hotel to maximise profit in the hope that we bankrupt our opponents rather than ourselves. We're full of intrigue

France (SNCF), Germany (DBB), much of the former Eastern European countries - there are many examples.
