Re: Who would be in Retail Trade?
I always try to be really nice to staff in shops and praise if I can rather than highlight problems. But some don't help themselves at all. one day a few years ago on holiday one of the kids stood in dog poop so we went into a shop to buy a new pair of socks for him. Found the socks easily went to pay, no one in front of me so should have been fairly quick and easy. Ten minutes later I was still waiting for the young ladies to get off the phone and look at me, I held the socks in the air and announced I was leaving if they didn't take my money I was taking the socks. As I walked out the store socks above my head I thought someone would stop me but no. I doubt they even cared.
Felt guilty and sent the money to the store head quarters when I got home, but some retail staff make it hard to be nice to them.
Having said that I've seen some truly horrible customers that I've felt if I was the member of staff they were talking to I would have punched them on the nose for their attitude.
