Had mini break

Had a mini break away, 3 nights, last week to Eperlecques(about 15-20 mins from Calais)

Guess who remembered that they had forgotten Map with directions to Gite, ME, I tried to be subtle on hinting to OH that he'd forgotten something, was a bit of a nightmare but all came good. Weather was fine too.

Had a mooch around St Omer with my Sister whilst OH & BiL went to Museum La Coupole..............enjoyed the very quiet shopping at Cite Europe, not many people at all.


The French were 'revolting' on our way home, so we were diverted via Eurotunnel instead of Ferry.

I'm pleased you had a lovely time Sweep, despite the fact that you forgot the map! It's bad enough forgetting it in this country, let alone abroad!

Did you take any photos there?

The Log Fire was ready lit for us the first afternoon there - it was fun doing it after that!
