Not a robbery
-yet we paid no money! Walked out of Goldsmiths jewellers with a 'lariat' gold necklace for OH -it was selling for £266 -yet we paid not a penny! We simply used £66.50 of Tesco's money vouchers-[you get £4 for every £1 in Goldsmith's]-have you ever done similar...?

My husbands company took back the company credit cards 'as part of a rationalisation exercise'
So we got a Tesco account and it often has amounts like £3000 per month going through. Works well with the Tesco points. Last session, when they were giving double the value for amny types of goods we got 28 bottles of decent wine, a giant box of washing powder and half a dozen other small items for the princely cash total of £9 odd. Lovely!Just used the vouchers as cash this time though I know the 'deal' thing gives better value

Good bargain! Our local paper has an arrangement with certain local merchants whereby when you shop there you get a certain number of points that can be redeemed for various things. I usually go for a gift card at the market where I shop most; have occasionally come out with a basket full of free food.
