Thanks Mags our NBC news is saying the same thing. Those first reports must have scared a lot of people including me. I love to watch him golf. My son just called to tell me he's ok as well.

Re: Tiger Woods seriously injured in crash

It seems it was mainly facial injuries he received.

Hope he's fully recovered very soon.

Re: Tiger Woods seriously injured in crash

On a related topic (as discussed by Mr & Mrs 'Smum in bed this morning) - why fire hydrants? What a dangerous thing. If you were looking at roads and thinking of what not to place there, it would be a solid metal structure, just the right height to reverse into if you're a bit careless or your car has blind spots, or to slide into if you skid! The water is running in pipes under the road - why not just have manholes and access valves? Obviously you can't do the city centre summer fun thing, with kids in the water, but does that really happen now?
Talk about sideways thinking

Anyway, Tiger seems OK. Hope his marriage is

She got him out of the car by using a golf club. I wondered if he was rushing off in anger too but then again it was Thanksgiving night and they could have had a house full of company and had run out of something???

I agree about fire hydrants DM, geeez!! Of course the fire dept. probably requires.

It does here in Washington, DM. Always pics of kids frolicking in the water in the Summer. But I completely agree that hydrants aren't a practical idea.

He has only minor facial cuts so that's good news, . . reading between the lines though I think thare's been a family tiff.
