Re: A Blue Movie

And our local weather man has just said it's been the wettest November since 1940 - who'd have thought it?
And it'll be a chilly night, though the fire is going nicely and my cosy jim-jams await, so I'm not too bothered

Never! that surprises me, the park just down the road is flooded so with a bit of luck and a sub-zero night I could be skating tomorrow.

Yes, . . I've still got the hockey skates in the cupboard.

Re: A Blue Movie

Damart are still going strong I think.

I have a set of silk underwear - not lingerie but coverage ankle to wrist! It's great when you have to be outdoors (rugby) but smartly dressed to go to whatever afterwards. Silk long johns and long sleeved top, smart trouser suit, thick coat and heavy boots, plus sheepskin hat and you're warm as toast. Throw the hat and boots in the car, change boots for lighter footwear and you're all set!

Re: A Blue Movie

DM, I have the same sort of silk underwear you have! Wonderfully warm, isn't it?

I used to have some Damart underwear, haven't seen a catalogue or any ads for it in years.
