Re: Buying a new bra
I recently went for a re-fit as ive lost a fair bit of weight. I went into M&S and had an appointment with the bra fitter. She was lovely and we had a little chat and she did a guess and then measured me and she was spot on! I'd already picked the ones I liked and she'd told me to pick one of each I liked any size and she'd go get the right one once she's measured me. I picked the two I wanted and Andy who was sitting outside the changing area looking like a naughty boy payed for them lol All sorted in under half an hour and we left smiling and went for lunch!! Done deal no hassleRe: Buying a new bra
OK Meg, I totally agree with you. I have just tried this, using that method. It is ridiculous cos my band size (adding the 4" on) is actually 3" bigger than my bust size so how can I deduct it for goodness sake? I have read this before and came to the same conclusion. Good job I am so skinny and don't have to wear one unless I go out. That is a schoolgirl's one anyway.Re: Buying a new bra
Re: Buying a new bra
I went to be measured for a new bra a few years ago, i am also very hefty up top, i found it very embarassing but thought it would be worth it to have the right sized bra. Good grief i bought the size as told by the assistant, and had to take it back as it was too small.Re: Buying a new bra
Re: Buying a new bra
I am also "top heavy", I used to delight in going into Myers, a "better" department store looking at the bras, only to be greeted by a size 4 teeny bopper and in response to her query of whether I needed assistance I would reply "Can you direct me to the Giant Economy Sizes, please"?
