Is it possible to accidentally become inebriated

I think I have done the above. There are consequence to this sort of thing.. Tomorrow I shall apologize to all

Absolutely. It is very easy. No never mind though. At the other end of the scenario, It is very very difficult to drink yourself to death in one sitting so you're safe.Just don't drive...
