Re: One good thing about face masks -

I wear one while cycling. Apart from the health bit, It keeps the face warm. Neighbours only recognise me by the bike the time I've got the mask and hat on.

I hate them too, but have to wear one in shops. I go once a week when we run out of food & take it off the moment we are outdoors again. We don't have to wear them outdoors.
If you have angina aren't you exempt from wearing one Baz?

I start gagging if I have one on too long, a sort of panic attack I think. I can just about cope for an hour in the supermarket. I couldn't wear one all day.

I thought it was mandatory to wear masks in shops, any shop.

So did I, Tiff.

Perhaps it would help if the shop refused to serve them if not wearing a mask.

Hi

It is, enforceing it is the problem.

I did not go in, so they lost trade.

The local chippy is very good at enforcing the rules.

I agree. I haven't seen anyone with a cold so far this year.

Remember Michael Jackson wearing masks....he had a good point, even though I struggle with them, if this is ever over, I will continue to wear in shops and any enclosed environment.

In case an unmasked infected covid denier parachutes onto you from above.

I'm constantly amazed that some people feel the need to make a beeline for me when out walking the dog. Usually crossing the street just where I am walking. I think people need the human contact of being close to anyone.
