Re: Shoes or Slippers.

Mine are not just any slippers, they're M&S slippers

I only wear slippers in my own home; shoes or trainers outside. If we're visiting others, it depends on them - some ask us to take off our shoes, others don't.

With very light beige carpets throughout it has to be slippers, M&S slippers though.

Re: Shoes or Slippers.

Slippers. Shoes come off in the porch. Sis has a pair that are kept in a bag on the coat hook, for when she visits. Visitors are kindly asked if they wouldn’t mind removing their shoes, or slip on the over shoe coverings. I am proud that my wooden floors, when cleaned with the flash mop, hardly show dirt. And the rugs are hoovered regularly.

I also keep a pair of slip on (Velcro) shoes by the back door for the garden.

Even the dog has her paws wiped when coming in from a walk.

All my downstairs rugs are new, as is the stair carpet, so I want to keep them looking decent.
