Cilla = Fab !

Have you seen this drama ? Hope so, we're right back in the 60s - a little bit of Heaven for me.
Sheridan Smith as Cilla is superb ! If you love the 60s - you'll love this

Yes Patsy, I watched it and I also enjoyed it. I've never liked Cilla Black all that much as her voice grates on me but it's nice to be back in the 60s and Sheridan is a great actress.

I have watched it Patsy. Its FAB.
What I like about it is the innocence of the relationships you had in
those days. I remember meeting lads and you are so unworldly
you don't know what to say or do when you meet someone you like.
Great acting and I was back there with the Beatles in the 60's. One
of the best times ever. Sheridan is great playing Cilla.
Cant wait for the next episode on Monday.

So pleased the posters have watched it and thought the same.
Sandy - didn't we have a fab time with 'no alcohol'
I had a little tear at her audition spot, same thing happened to me but later in years when nerves really kicked in .......

That's true Patsy. No alcohol just frothy coffee


p.s. I met Cilla when she had done a concert and she was
trying to get into a car outside. Bobby was with her and
her dress was too tight to lift her leg up to get in the car She broke a long fingernail getting in.
She had a fab dress on and I wishes I could sing to be
able to afford a dress like that

I managed to get one of those dresses I found a shop near Carnaby street that had near new clothes the models and the like only wore once or twice, it had a bodice top and the dress continued down from there, little puff sleeves, Dusty wore this style a lot, I was so chuffed with it

Never been a fan of Cilla,but thought the first episode was very good,will be watching the next two.Seeing the 60s things brought back lovely memories.

That's good - don't think you have to be a fan - its a great story with good characters ....
I am a fan though
