Avenue Hotel in Como.
Nice, bit pricey but ain't they all.
Only stayed for 2 days on my way through.
You'll love it Stevie, just up you and your wife's street.

Old subject I know, but, how come so many of these so called 'economic migrants' have mobiles? How do they pay for them and charge them?
Anyway, back to the subject. We love Italy and want to go back somewhere different next year. Lake Como, as we have been informed, is the best of the lakes.

I'd be put off by Morti's link but I'm a wuss.
Cremona(home of Stradivari) is nice and different.
Only about 2 hours from Como so a good base to travel from?
