Horror in Australia

Just seen this on the news, a mother in Melbourne was standing on a station platform with a small child in a pram, she leg go and turned round to speak to someone and the pram rolled over the edge into the path of a train.

The mother was distraught and on the point of collapse, it was unbelievable.

The train ran right over the child but amazingly all he got was a bump on the head.

I also saw that on GMTV this morning Nero, amazing wasn't it, things can so easily happen, like that pram just rolling off that platform , it's terrifying. I'm so glad the child was alright.

That was awful and just goes to show how easily things like that can happen.
I can't begin to imagine what the poor mother was feeling like, it must have been like a nightmare for her.

The child was extremely lucky to have escaped with so little injury.

Re: Horror in Australia

Im sure you've seen the uk advert where the man chases a run away pram thats heading down some steps only to save the box of cereal.. Well I once saw the same thing happen (minus the cereal box episode) to a small toddler and it flew down the concrete stairs alongside our local library and straight into the road hitting the side of a stationary taxi! It was absolutely horrifying and within seconds the mother got there and unstrapped the child and it hopped out the mangled pram.. unbelievable!! the child was barely scratched but how that traffic was all on stop and not shifting along as usual amazed everyone.. Someone was looking down from above that day.

With that child's luck there's someone up there looking after him/her.
