Night owl or morning lark?

Which are you? Sometimes on OFF I see the posting times and wonder which posters are just about to turn in for the night and which have just woken up ready for the day?

Rather relevant I thought to find this BBC Health news item at 03.51am:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-48558309

"Everyone has a body clock whose rhythms follow the rising and the setting of the sun. It is why we sleep at night.

But some people's clocks run later than others.

Morning-led "larks" tend to wake early, but struggle to stay up in the evening; night owls are the opposite, preferring a lie-in and remaining active late into the night."

Re: Night owl or morning lark?

I am usually up and about by 5:00am and don't go to bed until around Midnight. I do not need more than 5 hours sleep - never have done.

It has been observed that these two categories tend to marry each other. That is true of Mrs M and me. I am the early bird.

I'm an 'early bird' - normally caused by pain, and tend to 'flag' mid/late afternoon/early evening.
