I divided the slab into four after it had cooled and put them into separate containers for the freezer - got to limit Hubby some way!

I had a taste during the cutting up. It is delicious! Not at all as sweet as expected.

Wow, well done Irene, that came out an absolute corker!
I'm so pleased for you. It isn't sweet as the recipe looks is it.

Irene darlin' cut a slice or two when the cake is still warm, place in dish and cover with custard - makes a delightful 'pudding'!!!

My DH has already tried that - gently warmed in the microwave. Yummy...
