... not really a box but a little wireless cylindrical speaker (can get loud) essential for watching netflix dramas on the laptop in bed.

Small digital alarm clock, cell phone, small green plant, a few books and my glasses. Very tidy....

OMG Art. On one of those nights where I just can't sleep well, I'd have to turn off that "clock' reflection on the ceiling. Bad enough trying to get back to sleep without watching the time move at (what would appear to be) an agonizingly slow pace.

I always think of father Jack in Father ted and his stained armchair & side table with beer cans etc when I think of the worst old age nightmare scenario.

Dave, I have only ever seen one at my friend’s house. The reflection didn’t bother me but maybe if it was in my own bedroom, it might be a bother?

Maybe, you could get one that hypnotised you to sleep?
