Nothing much exciting; retired and live a very quiet life. Keep busy with shopping, gardening, cooking. reading (avid reader) and messing about on the computer...spend far too much time on it! That and the cell phone and digital cameras are things I couldn't live without now.

Re: So what have you been up to?

Another 'retired' here. I have been retired just over a year now having spent the last 15 years as an Assistant to the Housemistress in a girls boarding school (we used to be called 'Matrons' ).

This is my time now to do as I please and it is heaven .
Time for lots of walking, cooking, and gardening and a little time for forums ...

Re: So what have you been up to?

Yes, the housework is always with us, retired or not, but it is so wonderful never having to worry about getting to work when a bad snowstorm is in the forecast, or having to put up with difficult bosses, etc!
