Yes, you're right Janela. I've seen those at my local garden centre. You can get Heathers the same, that don't need ericaceous too.

It was out the front of my place when I bought the house. I have hacked it down several times but it always comes up again. For 357 days of the year it is a drab green bush, for about 4 days it looks like this, then for another 4 days it looks ratty and brown as the flowers die and make a mess.

Mine is a Rhodendron Bruce, not an Azalea. It is precious to me because it came from a very special dog's grave, so I treasure it.
However, your Azalea is quite stunning I must say.
