After Januarys Slump, UK-EU Trade is on the Road to Recovery.

See....

As Project Fear makes a last gasp, Independent economist, Julian Jessop writes for CapX showing that once again, things aren't what remainers would let us believe.

Trade in goods between France and the UK, both exports and imports, has been rising steadily since January and by March was close to normal, allowing for the persistence of the economic consequences of the pandemic’.

But just as the earlier figures weren't conclusive evidence that the new arrangements for trading with Europe posed a widespread sustained problem, the latest ones don't mean it's back to business as usual either.
The ONS said it was too early to make any conclusions about the impact of the new trading arrangements with Europe.

Total imports of goods from non-EU countries rose by 10.2% to £17.9bn in February, while exports fell by 10.5% to £12.7bn. Indicating you still have not found those new promised markets.

We have over 60 trade deals - India coming soon and the EU will continue to be a declining market for us. We left the EU remember, you still seem to think we are still part of it.

Don't forget the CPTPP of which many member countries have now either signed deals with us or stated their support for the UK to become a member.

Equally it could be temporary . . . .
Whichever, our manufacturers and our services industry are seeing growth and a "sharp rise" in new orders (which according to you must be from beyond the EU then) and that would suggest that the newly-revised forecasts of our growth (out-performing the US & Europe, remember) for the next few years are on-track.

It's far, far better than anything your EU can foresee thanks to their disastrous strategies.
