Good morning! Our hottest day here today is forecast at 28 degrees. I will melt into a puddle, I swear! Thank goodness we are getting some rain at the weekend to freshen things up. I hope it isn't the other extreme though like many countries have had
Anyway, no plans today - just surviving really, with plenty of juice.
*collapses in a dramatic heap, hand to forehead*

Oh lordy, another sweltering day, help!! Thundery showers forecast for Saturday - they can't come soon enough!!A very lazy day today, after hosting our 6 year old granddaughter all day yesterday. We bought her a large(ish) paddling pool to play in - the best £17 I've spent recently! Only trouble is now to get rid of the water - I filled up the watering can 17 times from it last night, and then another 16 buckets full to water the garden, and the darn thing is still half full! So that'll be tonight's job again!

Good morning everyone jobs done I am heading for a shower and hair wash then will prepare lunch of prawns /salad/a pineapple and clean the fridge out before Waitrose come in the morning.I have too much food so need to pick some and give it away, the runner beans are piling up and lettuces everywhere
