West Wales is my choice for lovely beaches Cardigan Bay.
Deserted and beautiful with the odd glimpse of a Dolphin if you are lucky.

I am not a sand person I hate the stuff it gets everywhere.
I much prefer pebbles and rock pools to sand.

I'm glad that so many people still enjoy the seaside, though even in summer, the beaches here are very quiet. When I were a lad, the beaches and the Lidos were always busy, but not now, so people must go somewhere else.

We go to the Algarve each year, and have a beach front location, we always used to take a walk along the sands, but I notice that we don't bother to do this anymore - the sand seems to get everywhere. But we do like the views.

Off to Llandudno tomorrow, another seaside location, will probably walk along the prom and keep off the sand.

West Shore in Llandudno is another lovely beach and always seems busy with familes enjoying themselves.

Myrtle, it is Lowestoft beach in Suffolk. It is beautiful and has the blue flag for cleanliness.
