Mid summers day?

Today the 20th is supposed to be the longest day. Ah, you might argue that it is not today but tomorrow the 21st.
But because it is a leap year, then that has given us an extra day, so that makes it today is the summer solace.
Now then, if this is so, then when every 4 years we have an extra day, that must mean that our calendar is wrong for mid summer on the 21st of June.
Could this be that is why the best weather is in the month of May?

I shall ponder on this whilst dancing, and chanting, starkers around a home made henge made up from twigs, empty pop bottles, and string.

That should be a sight to behold.
Any chance of a video?

"Happy Solstice!" as the lovely folks in Glastonbury will be smiling and wishing everyone! If it wasn't so wet out I might pop there to join them!
Peace man!

Re: Mid summers day?

I stick with the 21st as the longest day leap year or not.
I get confused as it is without further complications

I don't really care whether today or tomorrow. The day after tomorrow it'll be forgotten anyway.

I think it must be your utter recklessness that is so appealing Plops

You may call it recklessness, I like the word 'priorities' better.

Just to cover all possibilities I'm celebrating 20th 21st and 22nd that should catch the day whenever it falls
