I would have hated to be christened Edgar and I'd never have forgiven my parents if they had called me Malcolm.

Well I was nearly called Tuesday, when I was born my dad turned to my mum and said "let's call it a day"!!

I'd have hated any name that was trendily mis-spelled so I'd have had to spend my life spelling it out for people.

Names are very much a reflection of the times and in fact I have never met anyone with my name who is more than five years older than me or ten years younger. I do not dislike it or love it but no one seems to use it now.
I do not have a middle name though and would have liked one.

Apparently I was going to be Veronica - which I would not have minded - but would have been known as Ronnie - which I would have loathed.

Mother changed her mind the week before I was born and had me christened with the name of her favourite nun from her schooldays - big mistake!! I like the name but could never live up to it !

I'd hate to have been called names like Summer, West, etc.
Otherwise I'm not really bothered.

ST, my oldest sister was called Veronica.
Me mum was adamant she was always called that, and never shortened.
My name is Jacqueline, but that invariably became Jackie, with Jacqueline being reserved for when I was up to mischief.
