A lot of what we think of as old fashioned names are making a comeback. I do like them, they seem cuter on children somehow!
My mum is Betty and dad was Idris. They are on the increase as children's names again
Two colleagues have had babies recently, Elsie and Albert!

I'm just glad I didn't receive a name with too much expectation like Grace, Honour or Joy!!!

I too like all the old names like, May, Elsie, Rose etc

my mum's names and her sister Rose. My grandmother was Ruby. I love that name.

Charles Leslie Ferguson Ch.....m.
One of my sons is
Keith Robert Ferguson Ch.....m.

Have no idea where the Ferguson came from but we followed the pattern.

I was named Keith after an (Australian) cousin who died in a RAF Lancaster bomber over the English Channel a few days before I was born.

Oh my god, just re-read that. How boring can I be ???

Didn't you wonder what the Ch....m stood for though? I thought it could be Charm, but Pummy often lacks that!
