Cold shoulder dresses and tops

Now you know me I champion women wearing what the hell they want, but I just can't get my mind to accept these monstrosities. Who had the idea taking the shoulder out of a dress or top would make it look nicer ? It may look kinda ok on a very young lady with perfect shoulders but not on beefier ladies or older ladies IMO

I'd still fight for people's right to wear them but hells bells why I ask would anyone want to

I think that is one of the sillier fashions, I was only thinking that a few minutes ago when a neighbour passed by wearing a top like that.

Julie, I said the same thing to my daughter when she was visiting a couple of weeks ago. We were watching something on TV and this big woman in her fifties was wearing one and that was what provoked my comments. I wouldn't even want my daughter wearing one.

I'm relieved looking at the number of them about I thought I'd be alone in my feelings about them.

My daughter and granddaughter (9) wear them, I have refrained from commenting.

Silence sometimes is the best course

I was watching my neighbour a large lady of my age heading out the doors thinking someone should say something but I managed to make it not be me

Re: Cold shoulder dresses and tops

Well as I said I'd fight for your right to do so but flattering they ain't unless you have perfect tanned shoulders, they don't look so good on typical English alabaster shoulders IMO
