We could just get free trade on milk with the EU then when it makes a fta with someone else for all goods we will get everything too.

But what about the other countries it has an fta with. It has to apply the same for them according to you.

The deal between UK and japan puts harsher level playing field rules on the UK than in the present UK EU negotiations.
