Selling the Family Silver

Hi

We here tend to sell things off to foreign companies.

Others do not.

Stadco was a big local company, a car parts producer, employing hundreds with some huge contracts.

It was sold to a Canadian Company, first the Shrewsbury factory was closed and production moved abroad, now LLanfyllin is closing and Telford is being downsized, production moved to the EU.

So what? If private companies it is up to the shareholders and board of directors what to do. The priority must be to always deliver the highest shareholder value.

Yes. The objective of running a PLC is to deliver maximum shareholder value.

And now that you are no longer producing car parts, the EU chops you in the neck! You are referring to this issue?

Your car industry contributes more to economy and jobs than fisheries. Sovereignty you never lost.

I fear that your knowledge about the toxic relationship between the EU and GB, especially England, is equalled only by your lack of understanding about the character of English people.
