That is to say,, there is no promise of a trade deal. You are being lied to by the author of the article you linked.

But consider this. The transition period, meant for adaptation to the post brexit situation and to negotiate a trade deal, could be extended by two years. Why do you imagine that provision was made in the WA if a trade deal was "promised" by 2020?
Again you ignore the obvious: that it isn't worth opening, Solasch.
Why?
First because the WA isn't REALLY in effect.
Second because it looks very likely to be repealed (as I repeatedly show you but you ignore).

Next, you KNOW that EU law dictates "the Union shall negotiate and conclude an agreement with that State" - so please don't attempt further distraction.
If no deal is reached it is very clear that the EU have not done so, thereby paving the way for legal redress by the UK.

Not you, but bread, has repeatedly pointed that out. But he is wrong. And you are not bread.

The union shall indeed negotiate an agreement with the leaving state: setting out the arrangements for its withdrawal. So that agreement being the withdrawal agreement.

So you either are incapable to understand legal texts, or simply trolling. Misleading brexiters.

We know who's trolling when you repeatedly insult and ignore facts but hey, it's typical EU form and you're only perpetuating that.

Here's the latest from under an hour ago:
"the UK continues to believe there is no basis to resume talks unless there is a fundamental change of approach from the EU."
