Re: Settling In

Hi

An update.

Paid 192 yesterday for the gas boiler service and capping off the gas cooker.

I have another 436 to pay for the parts to get it up and running again properly.

It is a boiler off job to replace the pressure vessel and valve.

The Honeywell remote is knackered, an additional 164 to replace, but they have advised me to contact Honeywell direct as it is a known fault.

I may get one for free.

There is no Electric Cooker Point, there is however a spare on the Crabtree Consumer unit.

New ones are a 5, old ones like mine are 40.

I have one arriving Monday, got all the bits to put an outlet in, will do everything myself, but need an electrician to connect up.

Getting one is an issue.
